Well after about a year of waiting, multiple requests for hardware updates, and claims of poor work environment for CRT retina burn-in (my medical term) I FINALLY received a new 20" wide screen LCD monitor. Granted, it's not the best setup because it's 16:9 and my previous LCD is 4:3, but my eyes are adjusting well to the clarity. This will make Photoshop-ing a lot easier as well. There seems to be a good amount of red tape to get through in order to get something procured around here. My thoughts are that they are pinching their pennies a little too much. In any event, I got the monitor. I am happy.
